David Modiano

President

David Modiano is the President of Thalēs Capital Partners, a capital raising and strategic advisory firm focused on alternative investment managers in both public and private markets. Mr. Modiano leads capital development initiatives, raising capital globally from institutional investors while helping managers refine business strategy, market positioning, investor engagement, and platform development.

Mr. Modiano has over two decades of experience in the alternative investment industry, with a focus on hedge fund seeding, capital formation, and business development. Before joining Thalēs, he was a Partner and Head of Business Development at Mill Hill Capital, a New York-based credit hedge fund. Earlier in his career, he spent ten years at Investcorp and Lyxor Asset Management, where he sourced, evaluated, seeded, and supported early-stage hedge fund managers, including negotiating and executing multiple seed investments.

In addition to his professional work, Mr. Modiano serves as a board member and Chairman of the Investment Committee of the Seventh District Foundation, a charitable organization. He has also been involved with the Alexander Hamilton Society since 2022 and became a member since 2023.
