New York, May 19, 2021 – Thalēs is delighted to present the inaugural Agora Manager Conference, taking place virtually on June 8, 2021. Designed for Institutional Investors and powered by Agora, the firm’s capital introduction portal, this virtual event will bring together a group of industry experts in a minimal footprint and eco-friendly format.

Structured around the concept of “Uncorrelated Strategies“, this conference will feature presentations from select hedge funds based on the uncorrelated nature of their strategies. Managers curated for this conference have outperformed their peer groups without significant risk factor exposures while exhibiting low correlations to broad hedge fund benchmarks and to each other. In addition, thought leaders will be sharing their perspectives and knowledge in a series of informative panel discussions focusing on hot topics for hedge funds.

“It has always been in our DNA to develop tools for institutional participants that are designed to enhance high-touch relationships, said Edouard Robbes, President of Thalēs. “The Agora Manager Conference is no different. It’s a natural evolution of those tools that now allow for introductions and knowledge transfers to occur virtually, allowing for efficiency and a reduced footprint.”

The Agora Manager Conference is an exclusive event built for institutional investors. Those investors interested in attending the event can sign in or request access to Agora and register for the sessions and panels they’d like to attend

“Over the last year, we’ve witnessed the pandemic accelerate the adoption of virtual networking systems and events. While our online capital introduction portal, Agora, has been in the markets since 2017, our ability to now offer virtual events is a capability that is celebrated by our Agora users and validated by our peers, including capital introduction teams at major prime brokers, seemingly following in our footsteps,” added Marc Cohen, CEO of Thalēs.
